The reason why some people have feminine sounding voices comes from a variety of reasons. Some people cannot control it do to their genetics. It may be just how they sound. Others sound this way because of their upbringing. Men who are raised primarily by women in some cases have adapted those feminine qualities and sound like a woman. The way people sound is an complete variable.

Its all to do with the vocal chords....Some may have had damage while in the womb and hence the queer voice..
It is a physical thing and is a product of the way we have been molded from conception...

Voice quality varies according to child development,, physical and psychological factors. Some singers are gifted with soprano voices, others with bass voices.

If you mean "queer" as gay, then you are probably referring to someone who is gay. Some gay people emulate female vocal attributes and it shows up in their voices (and behavior) which is often reflected in gay culture.

Alternatively, there are some straight men whose voices have feminine features due to their sensitivity, or for other reasons. That is not always a curse. One of my best friends is a great woman lover and his voice is somewhat feminine. And the women adore him because they know he is a true man.

We mus always remember to remain tolerant of those who are different from us and to examine what it is within ourselves when we react to someone quite different. Good Luck.

it is just the way they are as people some men have deep masculine sexy voices other men have lighter voices and they sound like women and vice versa for women it is just the way they are made or born with sometimes you can do thingslike vocal exercises or classes to help change your voice or your tone. Howver no body can ever be the same if we did we wouldnt be normal.

I used to have a normal voice. Now my vocal chords are dried out and I have a weird husky voice (No! unfortunately, not a husky sexy voice, but husky, eaten a box of nail brushes voice). Mine is from singing too much, too high and without warming up. Musicians, learn from my mistake!
