A pharmacist does work fewer hours, only 40 hours a week, than MDs. Pharmacists are not required to do residencies. Once graduated, you can go and work and make a full salary.
The difficulty of getting into either type of college is about equal.

Well, would you rather work directly with people or would you rather work purely science on medications? Decide which you would be happiest doing. Good luck.

you wil not get an unbiased answer on this one. Suffice it to say I personally know 4 pharmacists that became physicians, and none vice-versa.
