Save the pap for your application.

Seriously, the way you just worded that question makes you sound like a brown-nosing suck up. I mean "I am a leader ... incorporate my love of people and the human body"? Those are the WORST cliches a person could possibly use on their med school personal statement.

To answer your question, a PharmD will be faster and afford you a more regular schedule (with vacation time, so you can travel). MDs and DOs still have to do residencies on top of their four years at med school. You can do a residency in a pharm program, but it's not required.

Physicians often have tight schedules, esp. during the residency years. You'll be working 80+ hours a week, sometimes in 72 hour blocks if you work in an intense specialty in a hospital, like ER and trauma. The exception to this would be if you were a physician in a nonclinical setting. My bosses are medical epidemiologists, so they work 40/hrs a week on a regular schedule. Ideal if you have a family to raise.

But pharmacists have the option of putting in fewer hours, particularly hospital pharmacists who can easily rotate shifts and put the grunt work on pharm techs.
