If you have a mobile phone you can have a gmail invite sent to it.

I opened a gmail account just a couple of days ago; a friend sent me an invitation by email. Now I have 50 invitations to send, would you want one?

simple - ask a friend that has gmail to send you an invite, and then you can have your own gmail account

did'nt know you needed a invite.i just went to msn.com and filled out the info and got one.
