I have a playstation 2 and for some reason I can't play the game Star Trek Encounters. Any suggestions.?

The disk seems like it is to heavy to spin.

I know every so often I have to take my PlayStation 2 apart and clean the laser lens myself. Use rubbing alcohol on a q-tip to gently clean the lens. Wait at least an hour after reassembly before trying the use the unit. (Need to make sure all the alcohol has evaporated.) I've cleaned my system twice and it's worked like a charm every time.

Try physically flipping the PS2 over and powering it up. If it works, then the solution is cleaning your lens.
