I hate Algebra, and I have to do forty problems like these! can anyone do these problems as an example and explain how you got the answers??

2s plus t=r (solve for t)
like this- t=
^ now im stuck heres some that i know how to do

h=p over n, solve for p
p= h times n

here im stuck on this one:

2s+t=r and you have to find out how much t is. Take an example: 2*2+?=5 in this case i just replaced the letters with numbers, so that they are more familiar. now the solution of my example is ?=1 (?=5-2*2) .Back to the problem: instead of ? you have t: => t=r-2s

x=2y+3z follow the same procedure as before, replace all the letters you don't have to find out with numbers, and see how you would find the letter you need
x-3z=2y => y=(x-3z)/2

in case i was not clear enough, here's how you can find me: crsimina@yahoo.com [messinger id aswell]

2s+t=r
(add 2s to both sides)
t=r+2s

x=2y+3z
(add 3z to both sides)
x+3z=2y
(divide both sides by 2)
y=x+3z over 2
(the 2 is under the x+3z)

2s+t=r
-2s+2s+t=r-2s (-2s on both sides)
=> t=r-2s

x=2y+3z
-3z+x=2y+3z-3z (-3z on both sides)
=> x-3z=2y
=> y=(x-3z)/2 (divide 2 on both sides)

0=2y+3z-x
-2y=3z-x
y=-3/2z+1/2x
