The specs. come with the new gaskets if you bought G M gaskets. The gaskets been redesigned by G M. to stop the leaking problem they had in the past. If you have aftermarket gaskets, make sure they have the same inserts and sealing surface as the new style G M gaskets or they will not last. There are a lot of the old gaskets still on aftermarket shelves.

If you are getting this involved in the engine buy a Chilton's manual. You will also need other torques.

The only site you will find with this sort of information will charge you a subscription fee. You can go here----->

...and subscribe. Other than that, if you can't afford a repair manual, try the local library.

Good Luck
