How do you establish a direct connection when using AIM Triton?

I can't figure out how to make a direct connection with my friend when I am using AIM Triton.

After you start a conversation with someone, meaning you each type a response (person1: hello? person2: hi!) then there will be a few tabs that open in the IM window. Just click whatever tab is the type of file you want to send to them (video, picture, etc.) and when you attempt to send it, AIM will directly connect you automatically.

i think of the ip handle comes out of your modem and that community, no longer the router. attempt resetting your modem and notice if that works. If it would not, it may be your router and attempt resetting that. desire this helped.

Your guess in as good as mine but..every time I even try to use it, my page goes blank. Nothing but problems so maybe if you find out your question, you can let me know? thanks and good luck. :)
