Its not Myspace itself that causes bad things. Its the idiots (for lack of a better word) that put personal info like their phone numbers and addresses and even their e-mail addresses.

The idiots that agree to meet people in places are the reasons that myspace has a bad reputation. If myspace were used for keeping in touch with friends and posting interesting bulletins like it was originally created for...we wouldn't have such a problem. However people tend to use it as a dating service which is putting up a red flag for sexual predators.

but besides that nothing can really happen. people say that girls get raped by online predators. but its because they ask for it. i see 14 year old girls with nothin but 20-25 year old guys as there friends. and they keep commenting them on how hot they are. so they respond.

but thats nothing new because its been goin on since chat rooms started. its exact same thing pretty much. if anything, it might be easier to prevent these incidents using myspace because you've got a better chance of knowing if the person is the real thing or not.

oh yeah and your computer might slow down from having to download so many pictures and videos.

I think that there are bad things that can happen everywhere on the internet. Its not a matter of myspace vs. the children. Its the parents vs. the children. Kids are going to do what they want and until the parents step up and lock down the computer things are going to happen everywhere. From yahoo, to myspace, to yearbook...its everywhere. That needs to be your stand in debate class.

The attack on Platte Valley High School happened becuase of myspace... The guy who did it only attacked certain girls. They were all friends and would talk on myspace all the time. This guy kept a close watch on them so he knew they would all be in the same class at the same time. That is when he attacked them!!

They met people who look like 15-16 years olds and they emt them and get raped, kidnapped or murdered.

Well some bad things that can happen is that if somebody figures out your password they can use your account to do bad things with it and then you get blamed when you log on so if you have a very easy password to figure out try to change it to a harder one.I hope I helped you on that.
