It depends on how it will sound with the last name. I like Harley better than Ashlee, but not if the last name is Hitler or Tampon.

Harley is unique and interesting , but when school comes around...you might get made fun of..or praised. i have a friend named Mercedes and we nicknamed her Benz and she loves it.
but its kind of one of those celebrity baby name scenarios.
Ashlee is an ordinary name, but not too ordinary. she (assuming it is a she we are talking about) will not get made fun of but not too much thought has been put into the name. it seems Ashlee is one of the many names people name their children these days
along with Sara(h) and Jessica.
