If you don't have skin issues (ie-breakouts) Revlon Colorstay is one of the best covering-and long wearing foundations out there.
Allure had rated it #1 for lots of years; and it now comes in all kinds of formulas now-dry skin, combo etc.
A product that I recently tried(and I have tried just about everything!!) is Loreal's Bare Naturale- its like the bare minerals you see on TV - this stuff is amazing- great coverage- a little pricey for a foundation but def. worth it(I also think that the bare minerals is a bit pricey and you have to order it) With this product for spot coverage just dab a small brush in the powder and go over the little lines(after you applied it to the whole face)-worth every penny!!

Most foundations should cover up blemishes and thread veins if you use a good concealer underneath it. Especially a green coloured concealer such as N07 by Boots.
If, like me you have sensitive skin try using the matt mousse by Rimmel and the concealer by Rimmel as well.
