Sean Connery, without a doubt. George Lazenby did a very good job as well but only played the role in one film. Timothy Dalton would have made a terrific Bond in terms of the character's transfer from novel to film (e.g. he looked and played the part of a killer for the Crown), but the scripts for his films were not good.

Boring but I'm going with most of the others. Sean Connery is and was the greatest Bond.

It has to be Sean Connery without a doubt, he was the best looking Bond, so sexy and you could understand how he managed to get the girls. The other Bonds well, they just lack that cool style

Roger Moore was boring, Pierce Brosnan and Timothy Dalton were just pants.

Dr. No! The first and the original story! James Bond was never as though as in that movie and he acted like a secret agent with license to kill!

It's got to be Sean Connery. Tall, dark and ever so handsome with a sexy accent. My mum says Roger Moore (only because she met him in the theatre when she was young).
