On just Proposition 87 in California , more than $140 millon was spent on both sides of the issue. Where did all of that money go?

~~~~~~ Why the money was spent , supposable~~~~~~~~
Californians, who already pay some of the highest gas prices in the country, were seen as reluctant to tack on another tax, even in the name of progress.
I understand not wanting more taxes but is that amount of money needed to have people figure it out?
Proposition 87 appeared to be a tax on consumers to fund research into alternative energy sources. Los Angeles Times, which tends to lean left in its editorials, called Prop 87 "nutty" .
It wasn't so much this prop. so much as how the money was spent.
I don't know what your Prop 87 is, but the money went to the people who produced the commercials and the TV and radio stations that broadcast them.
you aren't supposed to ask questions like that -- they hope you are forgetting all about it. because the next big thing they won't do anything about it right around the corner to distract you. remember that billion dollars that was voted for the mexican boarder wall? it went to chertoff and there will never be a wall. welcome to the united states.
