Absolutely.
The banter last night between Colbert and Stewart was priceless.
And Colbert's final rant and storming out of the studio ... only to be talked down by his driver Sam, was greatness.
He will be excellent in the coming year.
Oh, and Chris J ... give me a break. You have a short memory if you don't remember the bashing Colbert took from conservatives, especially the White House staff and other Republicans, after his Press Club send-up of Bush.

It scares me that there are people like ..Music.. out there. Even if anyone thought he was being serious, what the hell could a TV commentator do that we would 'need him'?
That's one thing that conservatives are much better at; laughing at themselves. Liberals take offense at any attempts to mock them. Look at all the liberals that were pissed of by 'Team America' or the recent South Park about 9/11 conspiracies.
We all know that Colbert is acting. Some of us just don't cry when we're the butt of jokes.
