You hit the nail on the head when you said "most crimes REPORTED" are young black males. Its like when rottweilers attack people - it happens every day but just doesn't get reported - the minuet an attack makes it into the media EVERYONE else jumps on the band wagon and reports their cases. The media then makes it look like for some reason dogs have suddenly started attacking people accross the country. The media controls the country and is controlled by powerful people so they can change the way their country seems to be running. The government have been known to release information to the media and have it published before the event takes place such as if they are about to arrest a drugs baron - they are that confident they will get their man that they do the press release when they haven't even got them in custody (see "Smoke" by Phil Sparrowhawk)

Some Americans are just brainwashed by the media and don't have the intelligence to realize that skin color has no connection to personality and actions. Being a Black person I won't just assume that a young Black male is a criminal and will harm me nor will I assume that young White males aren't criminals.

As an Afro-American; it wouldn't depend on race; but appearance. A young black student, lawyer, doctor, or even young black jock would get my attention for the time. If they were dressed in gangster attire; I would be more incline to walk away.

Who knows why some people react differently to strangers than others. I would answer his question...if I was wearing a watch.

I would give him the answer (time) he asked for. Has happened in the past and it;s no big deal for me. People are cautious now days, but you just have to be aware and treat as you want to be treated. Can't be any easier than that.

I would check him out like I check everybody out and if the vibes was cool, I give him the time, if I knew it and had my watch on. He is just another person to me. You can never ever judge a book by it's cover.

I would look him in the eye, and assuming he didn't pose any treat to me, I would smile, say hello, look at my watch and tell him the time as I would with any other human.

I would just give him the time. I wouldn't occur to me that he may be a criminal.

I'd tell him what time it was. Do people think they are going to kill you or steal your watch just because they approach you? Now if a gang approached me...............that would be a different story.
