I don't know! I've often wondered myself. My mom says I watched her since I was a baby, so I don't remember a time when she wasn't part of my life. She was always just amazing to me. She was adorable when she was little and grew up to be not only an Ambassador to 2 countries and Chief of Protocol, but also a very nice lady.
I started collecting Shirley Temple dolls and memorabilia as soon as I found out it existed, I got my first item, a record, when I was 8 and haven't stopped since. I was lucky enough to meet her when she was on tour for her autobiography, Child Star, it was most amazing day of my life! I hope she goes on tour when her next book comes out and hope to get the chance to meet her again.

She was cute and those movies were fun. By contemporary standards the movies are lame but at the time she was the biggest thing going. Every generation has some kid in the movies that gets all the praise. Shirley Temple, MaCauley Culkin, Dakota Fanning.

She was so cute, I love her dimples and her curly hair. Shirley Temples are also very good drinks!

as a little girl i always thought she was cute, funny, and pretty bright. the little curls and those little demples were just as cute and adorable as she was. she was also a stubborn little girl. like i said she was cute. nothing like some good shirley temple.

She had cute dimples. She had cute hair. She could dance really well for a tot. She was friends with Bill "Bojangles" Robinson before many people were friends with people outside of their race. Overall, she was cute.
