A golf ball is denser then a tennis ball, that is, it has more mass, and therefore more weight, per unit of volume. In the same way a glass marble feels heavier then a handful of paper napkins, even though the total weight of the napkins may actually be greater. The weight is dispersed over a greater area of skin, so there is not much weight on any one area.

golf balls have a solid core, composed of hard rubber or other material.
Tennis balls are essentially hollow and filled with gas.
Therefore tennis balls are less dense than golf balls.

Because it is heavier. It's smaller but more dense, has more mass and so weighs more.
