Greetings!

First of all remember this, there is no anti-virus software on the market.
Let me say that again, there is no anti-virus software on the market.
Virus definitions do not mysteriously turn up on your doorstep. They are downloaded but must be open. So..............
Once they are open a virus program can detect them and you may following their instructions be able to temporarily remove them. I say that because some virus programs have re-directors in them that will reload each time you boot on.
So what is the best and ONLY virus protection...You of course.

Good Luck

The one that catches a virus before you do. I like Avast. They have a free version for home users.
