I'll forgive your spelling, obviously english is not your first language, no it doesnt matter African- Americans only represent 12% of the population, so they should only have 12% of the seats.

Actually it's MOST of the candidates are not African American. NONE of the candidates are Natives Americans and it shouldn't be that way either.

There is no rule or requirement about anyone's race when they put themselves in the position of a candidate. It is voluntary.
