Assuming the buckets are weightless, or their weight is negligible.

This is some weird conversion thing my mom needs for her company stock. I know it's odd...I have no idea what to do.

I'm assuming I put this in the right area...

2 * 12.5 kg = 25 kg
1 kg = 1 L (for water)
1 L = 33.8140226 fl oz

25 * 33.8140226 = 845.350565
845.350565 / 2 = 422.6752825

422 bottles

Are you sure the water bottle says 0.9 fl oz. That's a reeeal small water bottle, smaller than 2 tablespoons. I really don't think they make 'em that small. So I'm gonna assume that what you meant is that you in fact have a nine ounce bottle. You need 8 cups of water, and a cup is 8 oz, so you need 64 ozs. Divide those 64 ozs by your 9 oz bottle, and you need 7.11 full 9oz bottles to get your 8 cups of water.

1 kg = ~2.2 lbs.
1 lbs = 16 oz of water

Given that:
12.5 kg * 2.2 lbs/kg * 16oz/lbs. = 440oz.
So:
2x=440
x=220

So your answer is approximately 220 - 2oz. bottles of water.
