Meh, semi-satisfied. I'm glad that the power shift will help put Bush in check, but unhappy about a lot of the ridiculous laws the Democrats are going to push through.

The Democrats are no better then the Republicans, IMO. They're all (both groups) worthless, lying, cheating, azzkissing, whore politicians. But, once again, Bush will have to be more restrained now, and when it comes to Bush, that's ALWAYS a good thing.

I don’t know why everyone is crying in their Kool-Aid about the Dems having a slight majority in the House. They don’t have a 2/3rds majority so they can’t do anything. The President has a veto pen to veto any bills that come across his desk and the Democrats do not have a 2/3rds majority to override His veto. Congress is going to be hopelessly deadlocked for the next two years….Hmmmm HOT DOG! THAT’S PROBABLY THE BEST NEWS I HAVE HEARD ALL DAY!!! If Congress can’t get anything done that means they can’t mess anything up!

I feel this nation needs to earn the respect back from other nations. The only way to do that is to change hands...since back in the "old days" when the were having a "grand old party" maybe the should have had an official "jackass" running the show. Hmmm....maybe gas could still be cheaper than milk.

Nothing will change. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, the Dems are going to have to walk the walk instead to talk the talk. They won't be able to sit back and complain about everything now.

They were elections. What more should I feel? No new members of my party were elected, nor were any seats lost, so... What do I need to feel?
