If you voted democrat, you prob. support: the killing of a living human being(abortion), gay marriages, stem cell research, and more. And whats up with the whole "we need a change" thing? Change what? Sending our troops to Iraq? Would you rather fight the terrorists here? I can't believe dems won in Ohio. I just hope the worst doesnt happen, Hilary in office! Not cause shes a woman, because shes Hilary!!! Back me up reps, or give a good reason why im wrong.

I'm too young to vote, but I would have voted Democratic as my mom, sister, and brother did.

"We need a change" means we need a new direction in Iraq. Are you so much in denial that you can't see things are getting worse there. Obviously since the Republicans have been ousted from office the majority of Americans believe "we need a change" You're one of the few, blinded people that doesn't, and would rather have thousands of more troops die, billions of more dollars spent, and increased Middle eastern hostility before you admit you were wrong.

Stop being bitter. You lost because your party is corrupt. Instead of attacking Dems, why not look into what's wrong with your party.

As for a good reason why you're wrong, try watching the news on any given night. And I don't mean that joke of a station called Fox.

Fine, I'll answer you're question. The War on Terror should have been directed on Afghanistan (and other surrounding territories), not completely diverted to Iraq. The War in Iraq has created more terrorists and loathing of America than diminished. Bush and his cronies spread the propaganda, if we didn't go to Iraq we would have fought the terrorists here. That's a lie. He missed Osama. He missed the point. Iraq had generated more problems than solved.

I happened to vote mostly democrat as those candidates best represented my personal views. I also voted for some republicans, libertarians, and progressives.

And I do, in fact, support stem cell research and voted accordingly.

I do not happen to agree with your beliefs and opinions.

I voted Republican except for our state's agriculture commissioner, who was a Dem incumbant who I saw as doing a superb job.

For me, I am open to the best candidate and not have to follow my party's line.

Joe Lieberman, for example, gained my respect by not abandoning his conservative principles, deciding to run as an independant against his party's liberal candidate, and won based on his principles. He's a better man than I gave him credit for in the past and I congradulate him on his victory.

I also voted democrat to piss you off. Afterall, it is all about what you think, and not what the average american thinks, right? I voted democratic because i am conservative, and I want the blank check for war to stop, government to not grow in size and involvenment in people's lives, and to restore the constitution. And no republican was representing true conservatism.

I voted democratic this time around because I believe in all those things you cited. More importantly, I was responding to what I believe is the religious fringe and their dangerous influence on the policies of the republican party.

That is all in one's own opinions. But those issues are not very important. Democrats will NOT just plain and simply cut and run. Democrats will gradually reduce troops.
