From previous questions I have come to the conclusion you are on a boating trip on the panama canal Perhaps to see his relatives.Or our other cousins in the canopy

I often take a book on long trips.
I once saw a capuchin reading a book called 'monkey see monkey doo' Only to have it Pinched by a Mad marmoset.
What a cheeky monkey

Niether wore glasses

I used to Know a bear with spectacles called ande. I could ask him.Although sadly I don't see him around much these days.
Sorry I can't be more helpfull. All the best.

An optician. How do you know it is reading glasses the monkey needs. If he has been progressively extending his arms to move his reading matter away from his face it might indicate that he needs reading rather than normal glasses. It is a well know fact that taller persons and this could apply to monkeys need glasses at latter ages.

If he's having problems reading The Times, i think they do it in large print if that helps.

other than that they were selling some down the market and he can get two for the pince nez of one.

Contacts are SOOO much more this season and unless he's got suitable matching waistcoats, pince nez (assuming you can find his nose?) make all the wrong statements about your friend and - worse - you!

It is illegal in most states to teach howler monkeys to read. If you buy him the glasses you are subject to fines and/or imprisonment, and he will certainly be deported back to Panama.

Have you tried infant eye glasses? Most opticians carry them.
