I don't like Xmas much... but I like the attitides of all people during the season. Everyone smiles more, and laughs more. I think because, like how one person feels on their birthday, like it's a special day for them, Xmas is like this for many. Family, friends, religion, gifts, all wraped up in a Santa suit.

We go into the barn on Christmas eve and light a small fire (leaving barn doors open) wrap up in blankets with hot chocolate and homemade cookies, roast some marshmellows and my grandmother reads Christmas stories. This has been a tradition of ours for many many years. Its really nice when its snowing outside adds a little more holiday spirit,

I have too many to count.
Lights on the Christmas tree, being so blessed that I can get gifts for my son and my family. Watching my three year olds eyes light up when he sees the presents on Christmas morning after "Santa" came. Being able to donate food and toys to needy families in the hopes of touching their hearts so that they can have hope for a Happy New Year!! The crisp cool winter with a scent of snow in the air. Christmas songs and Christmas movies, they touch my heart make me want to sing out loud. Keep the spirit of Jesus, Love and giving with me all through the season. God Bless and Merry Christmas!!!

When I am visiting my mother and sister, my favorite moment is Christmas morning as I hear my sister waking everyone up like she is a little kid, with the same type of happy energy. My sister is older then I am and lets just say I'm not a spring chicken.....although I had an elderly person tell me I'm just a pup. I love joyful heart touching moments.

Enlightening people that the Christmas tradition is really all based on lies. No one knows the birth of Christ (look in the Bible, no record). Christ only gave one thing for us to remember him by, and that was in the last supper when he said to drink the wine and eat the bread in "memory of him." As for the rest of the Christmas traditions, they were man made. Many practices came from either the Celtic people or the Catholic church that created "Christ's Mass" in order to convert more people.
This and other proofs show that we really just wasting our time and our money to big businesses that promote Christmas to further pocket more cash. Sorry to have to disappoint you, but the truth will set you free!!

I love taking my children for walks after dark to show them all the pretty Christmas lights in our neighborhood. We do this every evening in December. We just can't get enough!

I love to see their eyes filled with wonder at the beauty around them. I love holding their little hands when they get all excited about a pretty display. I love how they look forward to it every evening. I also like greeting the other neighbors who are out doing the same thing.

When the family is finally together for Christmas dinner, and there are carols playing in the background, the tree is glittering by the window, and everyone is happy.
