I used the patch a while ago. The only problem that I had with it was when it was time to change it. The commercials used to say how it didn't hurt when you took it off and they so lied! But really I didn't have any side effects from the patch.

I've been on the patch for 4 years now, and have never had any bad side effects. If you're really not getting on with it, go back to your doc and see what else they can put you on, there are alot of options out there. Please don't be tempted to just stop it or to use 'natural' methods, as they probably won't work, and I'm assuming you don't want to get pregnant! Good Luck!

It sounds like it might not be agreeing with you. When I was younger it took many different types of concraception pill to find out I couldn't take it at all. Go back to your doctor to try something else. Today there are a lot more alternatives. I wouldn't put up with feeling sick all the time. It's your body telling you that it doesn't like it. Find something that suits. Good Luck

Inrtoducing artificial, synthetic hormones to your body can be traumatic and difficult to cope with. Did you know that 50% of women stop taking th pill each year because hey can't cope with the side effects?
My advice to you is to stop using these unnatual and harmful methods of family planning and learn how your body works.
Modern Natural Family Planning is more effective that the pill and has no side effects. An American company called the Couple to Couple Leauge does an excellent home study course. LIFE UK has a fertility awareness programme and Fertility Friend gives you the possibility to chart your cycle.
Fertility is not an illness. You just need to understand how your body works!

I can't get on with it at all. To be honest, I'm smoking more cigarettes now than before I started wearing one.
