I never thought this would actually happen. Americans finally woke up and all it took was 2500+ deaths, 3 wasted years in Iraq, a couple of scandals, 2 years of a do nothing congress, the biggest government ever and the most pork barrel project systems in history. This isn't about Republican or Democrat, but an incompetent and corrupt administration.

I don't think they woke up. I think they just wanted change. They were too apathetic to notice the incompetence. I think the one issue that killed the Republicans was Bush and Congress both showed no fiscal restraint. There are so many "vengeance is mine!" mean-spirited Republicans that the war alone was not enough to defeat them.

I think Americans woke up about a year ago, and could not wait for the chance to vote against any and all who thought we were content to be led like sheep to slaughter.
It didn't matter what sort of sludge came out of Fox news, or mindless drooling babble from right wing bobble heads, or even salvation peddlers who insisted voting red was akin to doing Gods work. My honorable countrymen and women whipped them all the finger, and gave the White House a piece of their mind.
We can all see how much this must have scared Rove half to death, once he got the message that most citizens are angry as hell. No time was wasted in offering up Rumsfeld's head on a platter for all to see.
I wonder who will be the next loyal Bush man to fall on his sword?

You are wrong. A few votes here and there does not mean there is need to change strategy in Iraq. This was by no means a landslide, in fact if you take the time to read (you can read, right?) most democrats who won, espoused conservative and centrist causes, including not setting up a timetable for quitting Iraq.
Simpletons of course will take the easy way out and explain it like you have. I hope you wise up.

I don't think they will ever be woken up until they realize Washington politics all-in-all do not work for America at all, they are all about bettering themselves and big business, thats it.
