What do I do to replace it?
Ok so this is really embarrasing and I am starting to freak out. I lost my permit, I am 15 years old and I really need it in order to practice. Does anybody know if it is possible to get a new one? How much does it cost?
For everyone who is going to say you have to be more responsible don't say anything at all. I have already beat myself up over it and I am perfectly capable of reprimanding myself I just need help in solving the problem

Assuming you got a ticket? Look at your paperwork, then at the manual for your state's driving rules. You should find that they mention a time limit or what the restriction means. Take heart. You can't be the first person who has lost a permit.

On the other hand, if you just misplaced it and cannot find it, you need to apply for another and the cost is probably the same as what you paid originally.

The DMV can give you another one, but you have to show 100 forms of ID and pay...15$, I think it is.

Things happen-check the DMV(Department of Motor Vehicles) website in your area-all the information should be there. There will be a phone number, too, if you need it...
