I thought that was so mean! If Faith Hill is mean like that Carrie Underwood is so much better.

I have watched the video over and over. It looked like Faith thought or maybe had been told that she had this award all wrapped up. Watch it again. She had a very pleasant expression on her face and her hands went up as if she were saying "TA-DA" and then it registered in her brain that they said "Carrie Underwood" and it's like she lost all muscle control of her face and just said "What?" and dropped her arms. She was still smiling and acting like she was headed out to pick it up when it hit her - she didn't win. Kind of funny, kind of sad but it made her look like a sore loser. She would have looked much better if she said an unidentified source had told her that they had sneaked a peek at the trophies and told she had won so she was expecting her name rather than say it was a joke. Not cool Faith.

faith was in shock as well as everyone else. someone in there 1st year in the business never wins male/female vocalist of the year. i'm sure that martina was just as surprised but for some reason every one seemed to think that faith would win it ,including her, and they had all the cameras on her when the name was announced. i'd say give her a break, it was shock only. by the way, i am not her biggest fan, i like carrie better.

I think she would have reacted no matter who won. She's so consumed by her own superiority that in her mind there was no other winner than herself. I'm not going to deny that she's a talented perfomer, but it's pathetic that she has gotten so consumed by their own self-importance that she's turned into a spoiled bratty diva. I've never bought a Faith Hill CD, but I am interested to know how her loyal fans with react to this childish behavior.

It was mean and shocking. Caught red handed and now she has
a hard time explaining it. Kind of like in the commercial she did
where she gets her Big Toe caught in the bathtub faucet.

i always wanted to see the expression on celebrities faces when they lose.
so sad it had to be Faith Hill. hopefully she'll apologize for her actions.

yeah..we all saw the "Mississippi Girl"'s true colors huh? I think Carrie has done great this year and really deserved the award.
