How come women don't support the WNBA??? Idon't watch it b/c it's boring...But when I see highlights on the news the arena is so empty...I even heard they pay famous people ,and Basketball players to show up???Women however support the NBA, NFL, MLB etc...????Whats up with that...

i know of the WNBA but its not as fun to watch!! with the NBA the guys can dunk and do more and when you watch WNBA its all pretty much watchin 10 girls run up and down the court for 2 hours (ive seen a few games), ur right it is boring!!they dont get that agreesive and they cant make the good shots.......like dunking and making the DEEP 3 pters

Well I'm a huge basketball fan, love NBA and College ball.
I can't speak for all the women out there but I occassionally watch the WNBA, when I just want to see a game... Although it's not as exciting as College or NBA. There is a lot of action on the court with NBA and Men's College. College I personally like a little more because those boyz play with a lot more heart cuz they're tryin to get where the NBA players are. U don't have the dunkin and some of the excitement you see ... (Reggie Evans from the Nuggets grabbin some guys balls on the court, Kenyon Martin sittin on someones face during the game, players jumpin in the crowd cuz a fan made them mad... i could go on... ) U just don't get that in the WNBA...
Someone above said the women can't dunk, and that's tru for the most part but he doesn't watch it much either, because what he doesn't know is that their are one or two that can. I've seen it. As a matter of fact in the Womens College tournament, a young lady dunked last year/season so it happens.
OH and to all u men who think women can only get into a sport to impress u... u wish... that's way funny LMAO ... Get Real, not everything women do is about men!

Most women don't care for sports and that's any sport. Women go to NBA

Because most ladies(and a lot of guys too) find strong women intimidating. And unlike some glamorous, accepted female sports like tennis (where the crowds that come to watch the ladies rivals, if not surpasses the guys), lets face it, the WNBA doesn't stack up.
PS, they cant dunk either!!!

I don't support the WNBA for the same reason I don't support the NBA or NFL.
The only sports I watch are wrestling, gymnastics, figure skating and hockey. I only watch other sports during the Olympics.

generally speaking, most women don't pay attention to sports & if they do, they just watch sports because they are either trying prove us guys wrong, they are a "tom-boy" or they just want to watch the guys perform cuz it's more interesting anyways. plus the WNBA's season is extremely short. by the time, you notice their season starts, it'll already be playoff time.
