Do a Google search for gun rights cases, freedom of the press, etc. You should find some historical cases.

The Miranda case that led to the Supreme Court decision that a person must be informed of their rights is a good case to look for. Miranda was a man arrested for a crime, who confessed without knowing his right to remain silent. He won at the Supreme Court and now of course police must read the person their rights.

The ironic thing about this is that Miranda was later murdered and the police failed to read the murderer his rights. He was released on that technicality and never paid for his crime.

You should look up that case.

Sue
