Do post-season stats in football, basketball or baseball count towards a player's stats? So if a player hits 6 home runs in a playoff and world series games, do those count towards his lifetime stats? If not, how are they counted?

No, postseason statistics are a seperately kept statistic. As an example, Hank Aaron holds the home run record with 755, but Mickey Mantle has the playoff record with 18. Those 18, then, would not count toward his "regular" home run totals.

I find that these statistics, especially for football, can be tough to find in an easy format online.

even as college baseball does count number postseason stats, MLB does not. existence-time averages and totals are for common season play purely. MLB will also save each and each and every gamers postseason totals yet they'll continually be listed one after the different.
