I think they're a good team, but I also believe that New England and Indianapolis are both better teams.

Chicago's 7-0 start was great, but six of those victories came against teams with losing records. The only winning team they beat were the Seahawks, who were easy pickings without Shaun Alexander to take some heat off Hasselbeck. I don't think Miami exposed them for being a bad team, but I think everyone needs to temper their praise of the Bears at least a little. They are good, but I don't think they're like the Super Bowl Shuffle group from 20 years ago.

A good test of their ability will come when they play the Giants, Jets and Pats in the next three weeks, with both games coming on the road. If they win two of three, I'd rate them as the best team in the NFC.

Until recently, the Bears didn't have a legit quarterback to lead their team. Their defense has always been great, ther's no doubting that, and if Rex Grossman will stop being so inconsistent, the Bears are a real contender for the Super Bowl. They have the best defensive player in the league and their D-line can flat out get after the backfield, so that is a very good team.

The 85 Bears were great. Should've gone undefeated that year but they lost to guess who? The Miami Dolphins. Walter Payton, Jim McMahon, The Fridge, Richard Dent, Mike Singletary, Jeff Fischer. Coached by Ditka and Buddy Ryan. That team had personality. Arguablly the greatest team ever. Look at what they did to the Patriots in the Super Bowl. Long live the Super Bowl Shuffle

The Bears still have a great shot! Just because they lose one game doesnt mean anything! There probably wont be another team like the 85 team, that was just a special team! I bet you have the Super Bowl Shuffle!! LOL! Go Bears!!

Da Bearss!

The Bears turned the ball over six times against Miami last week. It was a freak game, thats all.
I am looking for the Bears to turn it up a notch against the Giants.
Eli Manning is gonna get a rude welcome. He'll be crying for his older brother as he lies on his back with Tommie Harris and Ogunleye standing over him!
Rex needs to relax and stop slinging the ball down the field as much. He needs to play within himself more. But I think he has what it takes, right now to lead the Bears to the Super Bowl.
I am looking to see the Bears in the Super Bowl. In fact I bet on it already!

Well, when the Packers lost last year (bad) it really made me sad. As for the bears, they "are" a great team, but I honestly don't know when they won the last superbowl before last. My stepson is a bears fan, and in fact takes the credit for them winning every time they win. He's loud about the whole thing, and I have to tell him to go outside to get "that" happy. However I do believe the Packers will make a comback, (probably next year) and I also believe they will kick the Bears A - -! Yeah Howdy!
"THAT'S MY OPINION!"

first to the person that said 85 they were over rated no they were not or are not, they still hold a few recoreds from that season, they are jsut a lil overhyped, and 85 was 21 years ago, and every one needs to stop trying to compare every bears team to the 85 bears, no one does that with the cowboys, niners, stealers, or the broncos....sec. yes they are a good team they need to work on a few things, and keep running thomas jones and working on grosman and his focus while under presure other then that they are a very good team or they would not be 7-1

Check it out "i love you".....the only team that they had played with a winning record was the Vikings and the Patriots tore them up on Monday night Football 2 weeks back....they will lose 4-5 games before all is said and done and "grossman's" true potential has started coming out the last 2 games....they will go down 4 maybe 5 more games.....I admire your loyalty but you were and will be disappointed.....Urlacher is however "The Man"......I am a "CaCaBoy" fan....look at our record so far....still 8 games left go.....Go Boys!!!
