go to this link. click workout and go through it. you can pause and do whatever you need with it. I like it because it taught me to dance while I burned fat

Personally, I think dancing is all about the hips. Circular hip motions just don't come naturally to some people. Believe me, I know. I'm tall and used to be awkward until I enrolled in a hula-dancing class. The instructor had the same problem in getting my hips to girate... they just seemed too tense! So she told me to invest in a hula-hoop - the best dancing advice I ever got!

Basically, you build up the muscle around your middle by hooping regularly. When hula-hooping, the hoop naturally orbits a little higher than the hips - at the waist. The tricky bit is to allow it to slouch down a little and stay there. Once you've mastered hooping at the waist, try suddenly stilling yourself at regular intervals, and then bend your body to pick up the hoop as it falls, and regain control.

It's tricky at the beginning, but it'll really loosen up your hips.

Also, watch dancing movies! Dirty Dancing, Save the Last Dance, Honey etc. A guilty pleasure, but at least you have an excuse to indulge!

take a class, dont be embarassed, everyone has to start somewhere... yo just have to learn to link your body with the music, and find a style of music ur best at this.. prolly a style you really like. careful though, some out there are way too expensive, so use good judgment! ps the classes are a lot of fun, too, and most teachers offer private lessons

I bought these workout DVD's from Wal-Mart. they're ten dollars and they are great. They're called crunch workouts and all the movements are moves that we do in the clubs now and at the same time you're getting a great work out!

only practice in front of a mirror. placed on shoes which you would be donning on the club so which you will get use to them, and after awhile you will finally end up shifting your hips such as you in no way thought you ought to. :-D
