I presently have dial up internet connection. I just want to upgrade to a faster service. Do I have to pay more for super fast connection from my cable company or the slower DSL service offered by my phone company, which is cheaper per month. Thank you for your reply.

Mid Broadband is the slowest setting for smooth watching on a computer. As to the "super fast" from the cable company or the DSL, find out which one will offer you the cheapest package deal. You are their customer, simply tell them you are getting inexpensive offers from their competitors and want know what they will offer you. Do a little prior research regarding what competitors are offering. I have done that in the past and it is a very effective way of getting reduced rates.
