Looking to take a return trip to Seattle. I was only there for 1 night before and I thought it was wonderful. Now we are looking to take a trip back to enjoy it more! Can you help?

Pike Place Market ~ Go with an empty stomach - there are wonderful food vendors at every turn! Lots of fish-tossing, fresh produce, flowers, and unique shops that sell local arts and crafts. Also home to the first Starbucks. :)

Pioneer Square ~ where Seattle began. If you have time, I'd recommend taking the Underground Tour that leaves from Doc Maynard's on the corner of 1st & Yesler. It's a great way to learn about the history of Seattle in a very entertaining way. Or you might also just choose to peruse the antique shops, the book stores, etc.

I'd HIGHLY recommend taking a ferry ride to Bainbridge for the beautiful view of the city. It's a great way to relax for an hour, get a cup of coffee and enjoy the water. You can basically walk on, ride across, walk off and then walk back on (return trip is free) and come back. Here's the schedule:

There's also the waterfont, which has many shops and seafood restaurants. It's also home to the Seattle Aquarium, which is pretty nice (although undergoing renovations right now).

Of course, there's Seattle Center and the Space Needle. Definitely check the calendar for the days that you are in town, it seems like Seattle Center always has something going on...

Hope this helps!

I would go down to the waterfront and take some harbor cruises (like to Bainbridge Island). You can also take longer cruises that go up to Vancouver Island BC. If you want to stay on land go see Mount Rainier on a guided bus tour. If you want to combine land and sea go to the Olympic peninsula by ferry and then around the mountains there.

try the Seattle underground tour, that's a neat one, and also if you like museums, there are some cool and original ones.
