Should the west set up an exchange scheme where western muslim apoligists spend 50 years in Saudi or Iran?

Obviousley it will only be one way, and they remain their for the rest of their days. I am sick of these nerdowell liberals who want to sell the liberties and freedoms our forefathers fought and died in 2 world wars for against fascists of yesteryear for a pittance, they can trade in their birthright but they cant trade in soceitys. All this PC pish is used as a stick to beat westeners down whereas it doesnt work both ways, i am all in favour of helping out the saudi and iranian goverments in filling their prisoners with some liberal apostates who hate the west so much they live here. Wouldnt it be funny seeing them bleat then.

When I was in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Somalia (and a few other choice places) we were treated like "Infidels" and forced to live in isolated communities. For those with children, when they turned 13, they were made to go to school in Europe.
When the people of those countries board airplanes to western countries, most suddenly remove their "traditional" clothing and put on western clothes. The women suddenly find it perfectly acceptable to put on a two-piece bathing suit and go to the beach.
We as a western society now have a choice. We can treat them as they do us -- as "infidels" and isolate them from our communities. Always eyeing them with suspicion and liking then only for their oil. Or,
We can accept them with open (and loving?) arms and try and teach them about our ways and customs hoping to win them over.
Personally, I don't think the latter is working very well for us. I say we become much more selective about who we allow in and we stop doling out billions to those that wish us dead. We find alternatives to oil and fossil fuels and then send them packing right back into the desert from which they came. I mean really. What do they offer the world anyway? Prior to Mohammad, they gave us literature, art, science, perfume, astronomy, algebra and on and on... Since Mohammad, what have they contributed to the world? Can you say "Dark Ages?"

I think if we just make them live there for 2 years and let them come back they'll have a completely different view on things. They would turn against the muslims and would do anything to stop this madness that is happening here today. It would be quite useful as they would be much more ready to jump on the chance of restoring the order here after years of pandering to the needs of muslims. Call it de-programming or whatever but I think it'd work.

Some people are too ignorant to realise how lucky they are to live here, that goes for certain elements of the native population who continually rubbish their own society, and instinctively support "the other side" in any dispute with their own country or culture. Its to do with their hatered of Capitalism (we are a capitalist society) and a guilt trip about the empire. It also applies to a proportion of people who immigrate to the UK, and then refuse to fit in, and in some cases are actively hostile to their host country. Im from an ethnic and religious minority in iraq, this country is a far better place to live, and im sick of some british asians associating themselves with iraq, its just an excuse to project their bigoted opinions, if those types dislike this country,leave! I say send people to those types of countries to live for a while, but not jail them.
