the 'only' tip I can give is less is more!!! don't cake it on whatever you use.....

clean face
moisturize
primer - laura mercier has a good (expensive) one
tinted moisturizer - laura mercier " ". apply w/ sponge or fingers, depending on how good ur skin is. if it is blotchy or acne prone, use a wet sponge and pat firmly but gently to get better coverage.
eyeshadow: use an eyeshadow brush (not the applicators it comes with!) light color from lash line to brow, medium color from lash line to above the crease, dark color from lash to crease (blend!)
eyeliner: i like Liquid eyeliner... prestige, revlon, almay all have pretty good ones. i also like Christian Dior and Bourjois (black). start from inner eye, when u get to 3/4 of the eye, go straight out and slightly upwards. when u open ur eyes normally your eyes should look bigger!
lip gloss: i like revlon lip glide, a pinky/orchid color
bronzer: apply to cheek bones, forehead (if u don't want to use blush)

go with natural it is great. Guys hate girls with lost of makeup they say they look like a clown with all that makeup on their faces. Trust me I have two brothers and I know all about guys.
