i recognize that Albanian Muslims did plenty and saved virtually their total Jewish inhabitants from the Nazis. except that... Denmark replaced into stunning, yet i wager you do not mean this us of a because it replaced into not an 'enemy' of the Jews. edit... hmmmmm..... nicely, you extremely have me intrigued now! The international places that I continually heard had a nasty heritage of anti semitism were Poland, Austria, and France. So i am going to wager....Poland? (Or Austria?!) Hopeless, thanks very a lot for those hyperlinks. i found that so interesting. sure, it does look that this instruct is illustrating to Iranian people some issues that we Jews experienced. the purely adverse aspect is the position there's a branch between Israel, and Jews, because of route Israel is the Jewish state. yet undemanding, the programme looks having a positive effect, and something which could foster more effective kinfolk individuals is solid. :) So, is the answer to the question in truth Iran?

Yeah, I remember it! We used to have to watch it when we were in junior years and then write about what happened in each episode. The first one I saw was 1935-1947 I think. Each series of it went through a different period in time, later ones looked at the 1950's and1960's. There was one on about the first world war too. It was great, actually I would probably still watch it today if it were on.

Thanks for the flash back!!! I had to watch it every week when I was at junior school! We were sat down in front of the tv and after watching it we had to do some class work on it. It was a bit depressing really seeing how much they could make the ration book stretch to.I would much prefer to watch Rentaghost or Grange Hill if anything.

That was a great program in education on how things used to be . We used to watch it at school and then follow the text books that accompanied the series. I remembered that guy that played Joey in Bread (that great British comedy) played in it too. Bring it back for our kids!!!!

Yes I remember it. It was on at lunchtime, wasn't it?
It was sort of a soap set in 1940's Britain.
Pipkins was good too. My favourite was Topov the monkey. And Pig.
