Ameicans love James Bond films and novels of Ian Fleming. Even the late president Kennedy was a fan.
Not sure about the choice of Bonds all the time. George Lazenby was bogus, and this Craig guy is on probation...

Yes, but not this american. There are too many uneeded bond films. While they aren't horrible (with the exception of Die Another Day ), they aren't great. They're made out to be classics but they're not. The plots and settings are repetative and the films are almost completely devoid of originality.

The only one I cared for was A View To A Kill, but that was only because I was a teen who was crazy about Duran Duran, who made the music for it.
I don't dislike James Bond films. They just don't interest me that much.

absolutely! does it count though if i've lived in England? i think Pierce Brosnan is the best Bond. and i'm a little scared of the new Bond coming out, i don't know if it's going to be good or not

I love them. I think the new one coming out looks excellent. From the the one trailer I've seen it looks like it will hold more true to the older, and in my opinion better, versions of Bond.

Everyone that's not insane likes James Bond. He's the original bad ***. The movies have wit, beauty, action, originality, I mean what's not to like?

007 is a perfect example of an escapist movie. Each one is overloaded w/ action, danger, intrique and tons of gorgeous women and handsome men to drool over. Apart from the getting killed part, being a secret agent/spy sounds like the perfect job....exotic locales, money, sex, danger..all these things.
