Do not get pierced with a gun. It's unsanitary and will hurt more.
Everyone has a different pain tolerance, so some people think it's the worst pain in the world and some people don't even feel it. If you go to a good piercer (check http://www.safepiercing.org to find one in your area), it will be over very quickly.

It does hurt. It hurts more then getting your ears or eyebrow pierced because your nose is so much thicker. As soon as the needle goes through, u feel the sharp pain and a little pop but then it doesnt hurt afterwards.

I got my nose pierced 4 years ago...i still remmeber it, doesn't mean it hurt haha....but its a little quick pain if its done by a gun....and it just stings afterwards....u just need to take good care of it afterwards...keeping it clean and all.

only as much as other piercing hurts such as ears. stings for a little longer

no. it's like if you pressed a saftey pin to your nose. you feel that for a second. and then just some pressure. it's fast. and it doesn't hurt afterwards
