Pixies and Frank Black - same singer, fantastic driving music
The Sounds - for the eighties in you
Interpol - Pixiesish with a hint of REM
Muse - what if Radiohead was loud as hell with a totally sick groove
Bloc Party - partyish Cure meets the Clash
Deltron 3030 - one of the best hip hop albums in recent memory
The Streets - it's like British Eminem. Not as harsh, though.
