I don't blame him for being against kennels. There are some places that don't treat dogs right. Have the dogs ever attacked you? If you've been around the dogs a good bit, they should be fine. My sister kept her dogs in BIG cages until she was sure they wouldn't attack anyone. He needs to keep them contained. I'm not just talking about a fence around the yard or something. I mean a REALLY strong chain (not a short chain though), or keep them in a big cage. If you're not comfortable with the dogs, talk to him about what you don't like. He might do something, if it's within his power, to make sure you won't get hurt.

Those dogs are dangerous so i would tell him no. Since they have already bit someone they obviously have an aggressive behavior. When a pit bull bites it locks it's jaws and it is hard to pull him off a person. I knew of 2 pit bulls that attacked a 75 year old lady and killed her. I know you feel obligated to help your friend but I wouldn't want to risk getting attack and possibly badly mauled by the those dogs. Good luck to you.

sounds like you are a touch afraid of the idea of this dog...
So why not help your friend find a professional to take care to of the do.

I could not by the sounds of your notes so if I did have to feed the dogs I would most likely throw the food in and run BUT me I'm a chicken with this breed . Besides once they start biting it seems to keep going on.

Good Luck

No, don't take the risk. Insist he puts the dogs into kennels. It would be safer for you, and better for the dogs (especially if you spend half the day at work?

Only if you feel comfortable around the dogs. I have 3 dogs and I too am "weird":) I don't like kennels. However, I taught my dog sitter how to interact with the dogs and what to do if the dogs got out of control.

if you even have to think whether or not the dog will attack you, then u shouldnt dogsit for your friend. Your friend should know better. Just because you say no to him does not mean your a bad friend, Your friend is even worse, to put your friendship over your life

They will be to much for you too handle and too dangerous. If he has any brains at all he will respect you for it. Have him take the dogs to a kennel. Personally he shouldn't have pitbulls, thay are dangerous.

If you're afraid then tell you friend no. Your friend is being selfish to pressure you into doing something that scares you. It's ok to say no to people. Tell them youd do many other things for them but that this is just too much for you to handle.

he is only against dog kennels because they cost a lot and they probably wouldn't take them, don't do it dogs act on fear unless you are really confident they will bite you say no.
