i believe feminism movement was important long time ago when women had no right to express their opinions about anything..they were treated like animals with 2 functions..sex and reproduction.
but as for now..woman manged to prove herself ..and i believe any woman who wants to accomplish anything can do it with her free will.
no more needs for "feminism" now...we got out of the abyss and we can go along with man .

Real femininism - in its truest form - has nothing to do with hating men or having any axes to grind with men or having any other "attitude" against men.
Feminism is more about women's not being hated or resented for wanting their equal place in society. You would have to be a woman (and have to have lived long enough) to know what women sometimes experience every day in dealing with both both and women. Sometimes even people who are close to a particular women and who mean well don't even realize that they are operating out of a subtle bias. So - yes - some women get to the point where they have "attitude" about the lack of progress that is everywhere when it comes to women's being seen as equal.
Feminism isn't even about just men's attitudes at all. Many men have fine enough attitudes toward women. Its about the not so fine attitudes of some men and some women.
If women settle into some "unequal" role without complaining the generally don't run into any problems; but when women are not willing to happily just shut up and sit down and let other people have the power that's when non-femininst women and some men get into an "attack mode".
As with any group, sometimes the more extreme members are the ones that get on the news; but feminism is not a "complex" or some immature thing against men. Its a legitimate thing, and only women (who don't mind not being seen as equal) understand how bad things still are when it comes to people's attitudes.

In a nutshell feminist cause is to question the male ideology's that have be prevalent in society for century's . Feminists have highlighted that most ideology's are written and thought by men and feminists do not agree than women are closer to nature and thus men can control them. Equality means not being treated as different but equal , IE have the same life chances as men . For example in pensions for every pound a man gets in pension a women gets thirty four pence with shows clear difference . The reason women get less than men is because they are expected to be housewives and stay at home .Feminists have challenged this and said this role has been socially constructed by male idea logy and thus created inequality in the job market . (after all i man can choose anytime he wants to do a full time job )whereas a women has childcare and can usually only work part time .Most women face a retirement being poor due to this ideology . Is feminism a just cause ,you bet it is .

A feminist is a mix of
one part woman
one part big shoulder chip
one part overcompensation for an inferiority complex.
Mix together and remove the ability to communicate on an intimate level.
Sperate from parental affection as a child
Add a constant need for approval followed by repeated failure to actually GET approval
Let sit and stew for about 38 years (or some point beyond her ability to attract men) and then get VERY far away.

There are so many feminists it's kind of long to go over each one. but know this that feminist aren't man hating or lesbians (not all). infact men can be feminists.
but to be more technical"
Feminism is a diverse collection of social theories, political movements and moral philosophies, largely motivated by or concerned with the experiences of women. Most feminists are especially concerned with social, political and economic inequality between men and women (in the context of it being to the disadvantage of women); some have argued that gendered and sexed identities, such as "man" and "woman", are socially constructed. Feminists differ over the sources of inequality, how to attain equality, and the extent to which gender and gender-based identities should be questioned and critiqued. In simple terms, feminism is the belief in social, political and economic equality of the sexes, and the movement organised around the belief that gender should not be the pre-determinant factor shaping a person's social identity, or socio-political or economic rights.
Most modern feminist political activists commonly campaign on issues such as reproductive rights (including the right to safe, legal abortion, access to contraception and quality prenatal care), violence within a domestic partnership, maternity leave, equal pay, sexual harassment, street harassment, discrimination and rape. Many feminists today argue that feminism is a grass-roots movement that seeks to cross boundaries based on social class, race, culture and religion. They also argue that an effective feminist movement should be culturally specific and address issues relevant to the women of the society in question such as female genital cutting, or "clitorectomies", in Africa and the Middle East and the "glass ceiling" issue in developed economies. They also debate the extent to which certain issues such as rape, incest and mothering are universal. Themes explored in feminism include patriarchy, stereotyping, objectification, sexual objectification and oppression.
