Possibly. A lot can happen in two years, and they will; NEVER win with Hillary Clinton. She is a divider, not a healer, and her candidacy would be a shambles for the Democrats.

Okay... First, the democrats won the HOUSE only. The senate is not decided yet and is more likely to be fifty-fifty.
Secondly, you will not see Hillary Clinton as the next president. She does not have enough support even from her own base. Call me a right-wing nutcase if you want, but those words (regarding Hillary) are from a buddy of mine who's about as far left as you can get and still see center.

Hmmmm. I cannot speak for the whole nation. Personally I think the Democrats were too nice and gave the country too much credit to be able to look though the bull the Republicans said about them, especially, the last two races. But let's talk about you. I take it you haven't voted for the Democrat because the Republican was the lesser of two evils. Correct? OK. Let's look at that logic. I take it you would have voted for the Democrat if he was more like the Republican then? Well, if he was more like the Republican, then the policies would be the same. The economy would be the same. The loss of jobs would be the same. And you admit that was bad. So tell me again why you think a Democrat should be more like Republicans? So they can continue the same failed policies? Or is it simply to keep you in your comfort zone? The only way to make things better is to move beyond that.

As a dyed in the wool conservative, I have to say that I do believe the Democrats will take the presidency in 2008. The Democrats will create a stalemate for the next 2 years. Absolutely nothing will be accomplished, and the economy will start to hurt as a result. While it will be the Democrats creating this stalemate, everybody will blame Bush. Democrats will take the presidency in 2008.
Possibly in 2010, but most likely in 2012, America will realize what life is like under Democrat rule (the party that has proven time and time again that they have no clue how economics works), and there will be a change.

In regard to President H. Clinton, how about this scenario to get President N. Pelosi? N. Korea sells a suitcase size nuclear weapon to Al Qaeda in the Middle East who smuggle it into Canada and fly it to Wash. D.C. in a light plane where it is detonated by the "suicider" pilot destroying D.C. The President and Vice President are killed and the speaker of the house, N. Pelosi becomes president. Yes, the situation that has developed with N. Korea and the Middle East seems that bad! (Pakistan might sell or give a suitcase Nuclear weapon to Al Qaeda.)

Alot can happen in 2 years-I guess we will have to wait and see. Also, it may be a democrat-but it won't be Hilary.
