Because everyone complains about reruns. This way there are no reruns, just two blocks of episodes with a big break in the middle.

Maybe they're thinking of new episodes to make and wanted to have viewers for ratings and ended up suprising people for no reason. I hate it when TV Shows do that.

more than likely because they r going to introduce a new show and they think by giving us a vacation that we will b chaffing at the bit to see it again. personally myself i think the whole thing will backfire on them and they r going to loose more viewers than they already have,.

people were complaining about the reruns...so they're just taking a break now to film the rest episodes...plus they love making us suffer.

They are making a bunch of new episodes so you don't get stuck watching more reruns.

they have lost ( hahah) some major players & need to re group & tighten up the storyline. it's a little messed up right now.. still cant believe they killed off eko
