The biggest terrorist in America is the one in The White House

1. Iraq. I think there was a group of swing voters in 2004 who stuck with Bush because they believed the US should finish what we started in Iraq. He lost them because Iraq got worse and worse and Bush steadfastly insisted that everything was going great in Iraq until the week before the 2006 election. Bush can urinate on the legs of the religious conservatives and the talk radio audience and tell them it's raining and they'll believe him, but the traditional Dems and the swing voters didn't.

2. Illegal immigration. This is an issue where the majority of the American people are having their wishes ignored by both parties. The Reps may have held onto both Houses with diminished majorities if they had done something about this in the last few years but they never did.

3. Corruption. Really just how most of us are getting shafted by the upper one percent with stagnant wages and skyrocketing medical insurance. Anyone struggling to keep a roof over his head and buy groceries who thinks it's more important that gays don't get a civil union is going to vote for Bush no matter what anyway. The vast majority of Americans care more about their own lives than sticking it to the gays.

Hmmmm. wager what, the business enterprise that has this settlement by the country - Diebold - is a substantial republican marketing campaign supporter. shocked? and think of approximately it. A damn election gadget is the comparable factor as an ATM, technologies that has been in reality ideal with a trackable paper receipt for some years.

There were no issues,
there was just negative campaign ads saying how the
other guy was a terrible person to vote for.

I never saw even one ad here in middle tennessee
that mentioned issues.....

But in my book they are the same as they were in 2000.

Abortion,
Gun control
Homsexuality
