The firs time .The temp. was 98 and i stoped to check the fluid It did not regester so i added fluid. When i got home i changed fluid and filter. The fluid look slightly burnd the filter looked good. The fluid level was over full by the amount i added. The last time the temp was 93. I checked the fluid and got a low regester so i let it set for a while and it has been fine since. I agree with the tranny flush.

when you just drain one using the plug, you only
get out like 20% of the total amount in your
torque converter...

Spring for some overpriced Mobil 1 tranny fluid and do a good flush. It will last the life of the vehicle and hold up a lot better than regular fluid. Air temp shouldn't matter. The fluid is cooled by circulating through the radiator which should always be at the same temperature.

Check your vacuum lines. Does it have an automatic? There are vacuum lines going from the Engine to the tranny.
