Jay-Z by far. Diddy may be the better promoter in terms of hyping things up and relating to the people, but Jay is the better businessman. He basically owns the nets, has the Rocawear clothing line which is booming in the clothing industry, he has multi million advertising deals with Budweisier and Dell, and he is now President and CEO of Def Jam records, the biggest of all recording industrys. He has much more money and is well on his way to being the first rap billionaire, and will become this in our lifetime.

I would say P. Diddy is doin' it big now...Jay was more of a father figure, and still very powerful. It's a close race...I think Diddy spreads it out large and thin, whereas Jay concentrates on one thing at a time, and puts everything into it.

Like it or not....Diddy, I just read in Rolling Stone how much money he is making. It was $175 Million on 4th Quarter sales on his Clothing line, his cologne, unforgivable, is the most popular or best selling cologne for men right now. Plus his record label is doing well because of his album, Danity Kane & Cassie's album doing well. The lastest Rolling Stone magazine breaks it all down!

Dude look at it this way, diddy has made a big amount of money off of Biggie, while jayz he did it all himself. He had no one to help him but people who tried to take his money away. JayZ nowadays is the President of Def Jam and that speaks for it self.
