I am wearing a strapless, A-line dress to a party and my poochy belly shows more than I'd like and so does my belly button and belly ring. Any ideas on what to buy to slim my pooch and hide my belly button ring?

Start by taking out the ring, unless it's too early to.
Then depending on how much control you want, you can use anything from control top pantyhose, to shapewear, to a true girdle.
You want something that comes up high so you don't end up with a roll over the top of the band. I would also look into one with leg coverage so you don't end up with rolls at your hips or top of your thighs. And it obviously has to be strapless, or at least convertible, for the dress. If it was me, I would buy a slip style.

get a body slimming girdle....not the one that is only use for just a panty.....you would have a muffin top.....go to macy or victorias.... all in one body suit that has a thong bottom or one similar to the shape of a slip but is body fitting.....

Buy a girdle...and take out your ring.....
