I was wondering if anyone had any creative ideas of what I can do for him. I am somewhat on a tight budget. So any ideas are apperciated. I thought about love coupons, but I tried that before and it didn't work. I also thought about renting a whole bunch of movies and spending our weekend home alone. What are your thoughts. Make him his favorite dinner, make it a candle lit dinner, wear something special. And just make it a time for the 2 of you. My wife's bithday is coming up also and trying to think of what I can do for her.
The movie idea is good. But I'd also try and find other things that you both can do together besides watching movies, because even though your sitting together watching them, your not really spending that time devoting it to each other, because your paying attention to the movies your watching.
I know it don't sound romantic, but if you like games like Monopoly, UNO, and games like that, play them together. My wife and I love playing games together, and for us, it's quality time.
But I understand you want to do something special for him.

make it HIS day...cook him a romantic dinner..dress sexy..foot massage after is also good..maybe take a long hot shower together and get a little kinkier than normal..watching movies is a good idea as long as its HIS kind..example, if he is a lord of the rings fan, get all 3 and have a marathon..if he likes horror and you dont, make an effort..also a special gift..one from the heart..it does not have to cost much as long as its special...if you have kids..maybe a great pic of him with the kids and have it blown up and framed..something that touches him deeply but you dont have to spend a fortune on. SOME men like flowers too..I know it sounds odd but they actually have bouquettes for men.

what are two things men love the most? Food and sex! Put the two of them together add a massage and your man will be in Heaven. Cook his favorite meal (if you have kids, get a sitter) buy so nice lingerie or use some you already have, you can invest in some inexpensive massage oils and just go with the flow. My husband loves stuff like that. Hope that helps a little?

Prepare his favorite meal, if U know how to cook. Then get his favorite beverage(liquor,wine,beer) . If U don't drink, make this an exeption.Then wear something very sexy that U know will drive hime nuts. Finally cap it off with a porn movie, and roll play the movie..GUARANTEE this will work....

Tell him that its his day and have him tell you EVERYTHING HE wants. From the home cook meals to the outfit your going to wear all day long. to the DVD your gonna rent. Let him know that he will be King for the day.
